My comments on tutoring Science : I am a highly certified teacher (with over 20 years experience) and have worked as a tutor for 15 years. I'm able to tutor all elementary and middle grade level subjects. As well, I also tutor Algebra, general science, earth science, life science, biology, and chemistry at the high school level. My philosophy is to facilitate student learning by using a progressive questioning method where the student explains what he does know and then building from there, each time questioning for comprehension. If a Student enjoys a subject; it will be easier to learn.

I use a lay back positive reinforcement teaching style. I try to figure out things the student likes and relate it to the subject. My main goal is to get the student to like the subject and enjoy learning about it, for if the student enjoys a subject it will be easier for them to learn.
