As an Honor roll student, a student on the Dean's list I was lucky to have graduated early. I taught six graders through opelia. I have also tutored a master's Student through her Statistics. Currently tutoring a student via online on her Senior Algebra for her Liberal Arts degree. I will hold a BA degree come december of 2010. Where I then plan to student teach and obtain a teaching certification.
I use all the main teaching tools. Both hands on and visually for those students who need different tools. I love to interact with children and adults helping them through their classes to better their future. I also enjoy having a hand in their future success. I truely believe that a great teacher is one who teaches for the greater growth of their pupils and personally I strive to help them succeed.

I have a passion for teaching all ages. I am patient, caring and understanding. My goal is to do whatever I can to get the answers children/adults need. I feel that students learn best if they see/hear the information given in multiple ways. I graduated with a degree in elementary education. I have since taught preschool and substitute taught for several years. I also worked at a theraputic staff support worker for behavorial children. I have a rich understanding of children on all ages and a intense background in all teaching areas.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been interested in the educational field. I have extensive knowledge in the areas of psychology, writing, and the sciences (particularly biology, anatomy and phsyiology). I have taught several introductory psychology classes at a local community college. In addition, as a graduate student at Alfred University I monitored a study hall of football players and provided the students with tutoring in pscyhology and writing/composition. I also discussed with students their time management, organizational, and study skills. While at Daemen College, I was a tutor in the areas of psychology and history. In addition, while in high school I was a member of Literacy Volunteers and worked with elementary students in this respect.
