I have tutored students in general and organic chemistry materials. I have worked with students on how to solve math problems, understand key concepts, prepare reaction mechanisms, solve spectroscopy problems and understand organic and general chemistry reactions. I have also worked with students as a teaching assistant to help them understand how to perform laboratory reactions, operate equipment such as distillations, IR, NMR and other type of lab work.
Back and forth with the student. Ask questions, but also work with the student to understand how and why a reaction takes place. Discuss multiple pathways to solve a problem.
