ACADEMY SCHEDULE & COURSES: We tutor daily, from Monday through Sunday. From Monday through Thursday, we offer group tutoring from 3pm and on. Our private tutoring schedule is individualized during the week day. From Thursday through Sunday, we offer private 1-on-1 tutoring with individualized schedules. When necessary, we stay up with each student until they have mastered their material, and on many occasions, Dr. Park has test-prepped the cramming student until 3 am. As a teacher and seasoned instructor, I have taught large groups of students for several years. Although I enjoy the classroom setting, I thrive in the tutoring environment. I am a pre-medical student at UAA who has a BA in Music Education. I spent a year teaching in Metlakatla, AK before moving up to Anchorage to continue my education in science and math. I have a wide variety of experience and an innate desire to learn more about the world around me. I began my undergraduate degree in Political Science, but after taking a Biology course in California, became rather excited about the sciences. I have worked in a variety of laboratory settings, as well as in the field, applying the science that I have learned to real life situations and truly gaining a better understanding of the dynamic nature of the sciences.
