My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Creative writer during personal time. Personal works include short stories, novels, and poems. Able to help others with conveying words onto paper and how to properly place ideals into writing.

My experiences come from a mix of studies and real life application. I have studied various forms of writing, from professional, creative, and argumentative; these include gather sources and properly citing them in both MLA and APA formats. My personal applications of these writing materials have been for personal use in working on short stories and poems. I have an extensive history with drawing, mainly through personal sketches (both cartooning and realism). While in college, I have also studied several techniques that have greatly improved my drawing practices in the form of realistic drawing.
My teaching style is very hands on, and student focused. I like to connect with whoever I teach on a personal level so that they can feel comfortable with me as a tutor and with themselves while learning how to approach old problems in new ways.

I first started tutoring while attending NCSSM, a state funded boarding school for the "best and brightest" students in North Carolina. I went on to continue tutoring at NC State University, where I took a formal class on tutoring to better my abilities, and tutored non-physics major students, including one with a learning disability. After gaining a B.A. in Creative Writing and minor in physics, I moved to Florida where I obtained my teaching certificate for physics, grade 6-12. I graduated Cum Laude, in English literature. I have always done well in English, and have always enjoyed reading and writing. I was a member of STD, the English Honors Society, and loved helping out with various events.
