Every student is unique and benefits from an individualized instruction. My style is business casual; I am firm yet warm and encouraging with students.
My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. Currently, I am resigned and staying home, but looking to work part time. I have experience teaching grades 7-12 and working with all types of students. The classes I've taught range from Honors English to a class which targeted students struggling to gain proficiency in English related PSSA skills.

I recently graduated from Eastern University as a double major in accounting and finance.My courses in investments, finance, accounting and business have given me a solid base upon which I plan to build my career. I have a strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. During my college career I was a tutor for the entire business department tutoring all accounting and finance classes along with select business classes. Not only did I excel in tutoring but as the TA for finance had taken over teaching for three weeks as the professor became ill. The experience allowed me to learn important skills and to develop the confidence needed to succeed in a competitive environment.

I have a strong business background, with an MBA, CPA, and CIA. However, as a student at Susquehanna University, I also volunteered at least 2 days a week at a local preschool where I helped teach the students. In addition, I worked at a local elementary after-school program 2 days a week. I am currently pursuing my teaching certification through Drexel University.
While I enjoy business, working with children is my passion, hence why I am pursuing my teaching certification. I believe the best way to teach students any skill is to let them have hands on experience with it. As an example, in order to learn business skills, students need to practice the skills and understand their relevance in the real world.
