I like diversity when teaching and incorporating the use of technology to help the diverse learner. The teaching style I like to relate to is that of Maria Montessori, because I like to set up scenarios and encourage the child to problem solve and be creative at their own pace. I love working with children, and over my many years of being in school I have witnessed all types of teaching styles. I enjoy every aspect of teaching. I began in 1987 as a teacher's aide in Georgia. I was later able to return to college to complete my degree in Elementary Education. I have worked as a preschool teacher, elementary teacher, middle school and high school teacher, and I have tutored in Reading, Math, and Science. Much of my methods are based on what I have experienced through the years.
