As a student of the life sciences, I have gained a foundation of knowledge which consists of chemistry, physics, and biology. High scoring on graduate school entrance exams earned me a position to tutor others studying for the MCAT and GRE with a test preperation organization. Much of my teaching style I learned while at Apple Computer in one on one computer teaching sessions. I tend to be a very enthusiastic and encouraging anyway, but Apple taught me an additional patience and a lead-learning-out teaching style that promotes self-discovery and avoids simply giving answers.
