Also, I encourage them express themselves even though they might make mistakes. I help them find why is it a mistake and how to correct them. I taught Arabic as a second language in Plainfield Indiana to students of different ages and of both sexes. I taught all language skills with some concentration on reading skills and conversation. The size of the class was relatively big as I had about 40 students. I encouraged students to express their ideas in the form of written sentences and the I would go over what they wrote in order to correct their sentences by showing the how to construct a sound Arabic sentences.

I began tutoring people when I was in the eigth grade. I decided I wanted to help out at the school across the street from my middle school in Colorado. I enrolled in a class that allowed us to go and assist the teachers and help the students. I fell in love with kids then for sure. I already knew I liked them because I started babysitting when I was 11 and couldn't stop! Then in ninth grade, a neighbor failed kindergarten and asked if I would starting coming over several days a week to help him understand what was being taught.
