I have been teaching and tutoring for many years. I have tutoring experience for students in grades 1,2,3,and 5. I have teaching experience in Special Education and Elementary Education in grades K,1,2,4, and 5. I began my career as a teacher's assistant. I taught second grade for 2 years. I currently teach 5th grade. My student teaching was completed at all grade levels with a concentration in k-2 and 4-5. My teaching style depends on the student I am working with. Teaching is about working with the student in the way that works best for them. I hold my students to high expectations that I know they are capable of reaching. I have my BS in Early Childhood Education as well as Special Education and have tremendous experience with children and adults with all types of disabilities, learning impairments and delays both physical and emotional in addition to academic. In addition to being a teacher, I am also a personal trainer, nutrition coach and recovery coach for girls and woman battling eating disorders. I have experience as well in the fitness and nutrition field and teach individuals how to train and fuel their bodies individually.

I have worked in the accounting field for the past 12 years. I received my Masters degree in finance a couple years ago and I am currently studying for the CPA exam. I have extensive knowledge in many areas as well as hands on training. I just became a partner for a local accounting firm. I can tutor high school students and college students of any degree with any field pertaining to accounting and finance. I also have a significant amount of knowledge in several other fields such as math, English, childhood education, and human anatomy. I like to teach in a style that provides the student with an understanding of the subject to make them confident in their answers.
