A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with students of almost every age and level. My first teaching degree was a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. With that degree, I worked in a preschool, and I have substituted extensively in elementary schools and in middle and high schools for 12 years, learning to work with math systems such as Investigations and Expressions. At the same time I have aided and taught evening classes for adults learning basic skills to further their educational and career goals, and I have volunteered to teach Sunday school and ESL. Most recently I have been tutoring college students in algebra and helping dyslexic students write reports and comprehend written material. I have taught and tutored all phases of a massage program, including anatomy, physiology and pathology. Teaching ESL to all ages throughout my life including people from Mexico, Japan and Thailand is also something I've enjoyed doing. I've homeschooled high school students in a huge variety of coursework, and taught health, math, English and physical education in two private schools.
