I have been teaching social studies in Cabarrus County for the past 12 years. I am nationally board certified and have my AP certification in World History. This summer I will be receiving my IB training and will begin teaching AP world history in the IB classroom. I am interested in tutoring specifically in world and AP world history, which I consider my speciality, but am proficient in all social studies classes and can help at any level. Geography is one of my top subjects!

I believe every student can learn, and as a result incorporate a variety of learning techniques to address a variety of learning styles. Reading Comprehension Tutor Seeks New Learners!

Reading opens whole new worlds just waiting to be explored.

I spent three Summers working as a volunteer, teaching reading to children of Hungarian refugees in England. I enjoyed working with these young people and they were eager to learn. I am a voracious reader and have been all my life. I am also a writer, I have had articles published in our Diocesan magazine and in the Franciscan Times, I am currently an assistant editor of Franciscan Times.
