A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is one that allows the students to ask any pertinent question about the subject at hand. By allowing the students to do this, it allows me to see what might be giving them a hard time with the learning. Thus, I would be able to ask pertinent questions, that will allow me to show different ways around the troublesome areas, while giving the students a new way to learn the necessary material.
When working towards my Bachelor's I was able to achieve a dual BS in Accounting and Business Management. After working a few years, I decided to go into teaching. I use all the main teaching tools. Both hands on and visually for those students who need different tools. I love to interact with children and adults helping them through their classes to better their future. I also enjoy having a hand in their future success. I truely believe that a great teacher is one who teaches for the greater growth of their pupils and personally I strive to help them succeed.
As an Honor roll student, a student on the Dean's list I was lucky to have graduated early. I taught six graders through opelia. I have also tutored a master's Student through her Statistics. Currently tutoring a student via online on her Senior Algebra for her Liberal Arts degree. I will hold a BA degree come december of 2010. Where I then plan to student teach and obtain a teaching certification.
