A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is very distinctive to the students learning needs. I believe that the educator is a facilitator of the information and must be able to differentiate the instruction to the needs of the learner. I also believe that the educator must provide meaningful instruction and assessments to show the student their growth and gains throughout the teaching. I have been a teacher & tutor for over 10 years now, working with students of all ages, in a variety of subjects - the English language, reading comprehension, speech, writing, grammar, world history, geography, earth science, general study skills and homework completion. In my instruction I apply research-based strategies, theories, new techniques, and modern methods of instruction. I put a lot of thought and work in to creating my lesson plans. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate from University of Idaho, I was very much driven to reach a higher level of excellence in education, leadership, and support of my peers. I have earned a BS in Chemistry, which has allowed me to gain an understanding in many levels of science, not only how in how to learn but how to adapt those lessons for others. During the last eight years, throughout high school and college, I have tutored students in Engineering, psychology, mathematics, chemistry and biology.
