Dance is a Passion

I started my dance career when I was 2 and I trained at Top Hat Dance Centre in Lewisville and I trained there until my junior year in High School. While I was there I trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and pointe. When I was 6 I was invited to the competition team and I continued to be a part of that until I joined drill team in 2008. Before joining drill team in high school I was a member of the JV cheerleading team at Lewisville HIgh. While on that team I also competed on a competition cheer team. Junior year I joined drill team where I was on the elite hip hop and jazz teams while also making every competition dance. My senior year I was awarded Senior Lieutenant right under the captain. My comments on tutoring Cheering : was on performance team for 3 years

Have been dancing most of my life, and it is my passion. I love to work with young kids and want to make a career out of teaching. Started dancing at the age of 8 years old and have never stopped. I auditioned for the high school drill/dance team and was an officer for 2 years. After I graduated I worked in the food industry and enjoy meeting new people. My comments on tutoring Cheering : some experience

I would describe my teaching style as dynamic, creative student-centered
I've either taught or tutored in some form or fashion for over 17yrs now. I've had ages 3yrs to 22yrs old covering all manner of subjects and hobbies. One of my most rewarding experience was with an 18 year old special needs 10th grader ready to drop out of school. We met 2-3x a week for 6mths. In that time he raised his GPA from 1.2 to 2.7. He completed his 10th grade year and went on to take and pass the G.E.D. the following year.
