A Little Bit About Me...

I use the preferences, hobbies, likes, and dislikes of the student to relate the information in which they are learning. I use examples from everyday life that helps them understand information that is applicable to everyday life.
I have been tutoring for over 8 years. I have also started youth tutoring programs since 2007. I have taught algebra, organic chemistry, physics, and other core mathematics and chemistry classes. You also must find their passion. With this information (passion and learning style), you can help any student succeed. Many of my students have been considered as slow, but once I began working with them, I realized that they just lacked the basic skills. I hold a Bachelor's from UNC Greensboro where I majored in Psychology and theater arts, but also took many literature credits to fulfill a special educational program in which I was placed. this program was for gifted students.
