A Little Bit About Me...

I have currently worked at the Herkimer ARC for the past eight years. I have alot of experience working with people with disabilites from severe Mental Retardation, Cerebal Palsy,Autism, Learning Disability and Mental Heath. I have obtained a degree from Herkimer College in applied science with a minor in education. I also went to Mohawk Valley Community College for two years to obtain a degree in Nursing. I am a very caring open individual who loves to help people. I am looking for part time employment to start a college fun for my three year old daughter. I have years of experience training new employess at the Herkimer ARC.
I am a hands on teacher. I can verbally explain things and then i like to utilize different techniques to ensure the children understand what i am explaning. I am opening to different teaching styles because each child learns differently.

Becoming a teacher has been one of my life's passions. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Adolescent Education and Mathematics and am currently working on a Master of Arts degree in Education, Curriculum, Instruction, and Mathematics. I have experience in teaching an array of mathematics classes from 7th grade Math up to Calculus and College Algebra. I teaching and working with student of all ages. I believe that those that I have tutoredin the past and present learn best though hands on learning. The process by which demonstration problems are correctly worked out and then assists them in completing the problems at hand.
I have always loved numbers and they are my passion. As a student at FMCC I was able to pursue my goal and assist others along the way. I tutored mainly math at FMCC for about 1.5 years while still attending school, but also tutored in a variety of subjects ranging from english to science to business to accounting. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a pursuer of hard work and performance. I have a double major and a singular bachelor degrees and a master's in literacy as language is very important to me. I have taught and worked as a substitute teacher in the public school system for the last 25 years. I also play the piano, keyboard and organ.
