I attended Thomas More College on an academic scholarship and graduated with honors in the spring of 2011 with a BA in Environmental Science. Presently, I am pursuing a Master of Biology degree at the University of Cincinnati, where I hold a University Graduate Scholarship as well as a Yates Scholarship. I worked as a private tutor from 2006 through 2011, and in 2008 and 2009 I also tutored through Thomas More College. Currently, I am an instructor for undergraduate biology labs at the University of Cincinnati.

As an undergraduate I was named on the Dean’s list six times and was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. In order to be granted this degree I was required to gain a great understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have been on the cutting edge of computer science from the first hand held calculators. I can program in FORTRAN, Assembly, Basic, Pascal, and C languages, on a variety of platforms. I have a friendly teaching style; I use a lot of sense of humor. But, this takes a lot of hard work to achieve. The reason I am able to teach French grammar in a non-intimidating, almost very relaxing way, is because I had to master it. I have a way of getting closer to my students and to their difficulties by having the ability to relate almost every chapter I introduce to my personal experiences. And, I have anecdotes almost about any new topic I present. I am a story teller in that sense. Sometime my students beg me to tell them more anecdotes. I tell them if they want to hear more stories, they have to do this, or that. And almost always agree with smiles that seem to say “you got us!”
