I utilize elements of each of the five teaching styles; however, I prefer the I Do, We Do, You Do style of learning. I firmly believe in providing clear instruction and demonstration of each concept. Then, the student and I work together to master a concept. After that, I provide the student an opportunity to practice and demonstrate his/her mastery of the material in a variety of situations. A Little Bit About Me...

As the valedictorian of my high school class, I know that all children have the ability to achieve their highest level of education with proper mentoring, coaching and training. All children deserve a healthy start in school and life. I enjoy assisting children with English, research papers, reading and creative writing, and science. My preference is children who are in elementary to middle school.

A Little Bit About Me...

In general, I simply love working with children. I find great happiness in knowing that I personally helped a child succeed academically. As the oldest of four children, I have always been a leader amongst my siblings and always found myself helping them academically as they grew older. I am a champion for youth. While obtaining my education, my passion for children inspired me to tutor and mentor youth and young adults in programs like Educational Talent Search, Upward Bound, and Student Support Services.
