I have worked as a tutor for 10 years in all subjects, especially focusing on ESL learners. Recently, I have worked in an ESL school (FLS International) with university age students seeking to matriculate into American Universities. Before that, I worked in South Korea teaching English. While employed at these schools, I also work part-time as a tutor- mostly for middle and high school age students. Many of my students struggle with time management, and this is a main focus in my tutoring sessions. I hate lecturing! I do! This is why my tutoring style is very interactive. I don't like talking AT a person, I prefer to have a conversation. My goal as a tutor is to make subjects interesting, and also to make sure they stick- so you can do well on exams.
