My comments on tutoring American History : I recently received my B.A in History from SUNY Plattsburgh and I am currently pursuing a M.A in History at CUNY Brooklyn.

In the past I have engaged students with music, film clips and leading questions to put a new perspective on required reading.
As a student of history in both undergraduate and graduate school I have been trained to read actively, think critically, and write creatively. I also have experience working as a Youth Advocate and Direct Service Professional.
