My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I have worked with students from Kindergarden to 5th grade in reading comprehension.

When I was 5 years old I learned sign Language, I had a classmate who was deaf and I fell in love with the language. I went to the University of Nebrasaka-Lincoln majored in Speech Pathology and took a few sign language classes. I started interpreting in 2009 in a small town in Kimball Nebraska. I worked with a high school student while I was there. After he graduated high school I then got the opportunity to work in Scottsbluff Nebraska in an elementary school. While I was there, my passion for working with elementary students really came out. While I was there, I worked with a couple different students who were in first grade, second grade, fourth grade and eight grade. I was very emerged in tutoring students. A Little Bit About Me...

I have spent thirty-five years in the field of education. During my college years I worked in the early childhood field and I worked as a private tutor as a means of supporting my education. Since that time I have worked in public schools, religious organizations, private educational facilities, and non-profit organizations partnering with public schools. The past thirteen years my work has primarily been in the early childhood and elementary field, providing educational services to young children and their families. Elementary aged children received tutoring and summer camp educational services through my work at this educational facility. Along with remedial assistance we provided services to special needs children.
