I find that each person has a different learing style and try to find out what works for them. I also teach them that organization of thoughts and ideas are helpful in how they approach learning. I relate the subject matter to what is needed to learn and to something that they can relate to. I believein repetition and that all people can learn if someone takes the time to find out their individual learning style. I find helping other learn and be successful very rewarding to me and would love the opportunity to do so with your students.

A Little Bit About Me...

I very much enjoy teaching both children and young adults. It gives me great satisfaction in helping others achieve a higher level of knowledge and skills. In addition, I feel that tutoring is a two-way street, whereby both the student learns material from the tutor, while at the same time the tutor learns how to better present the material in a way that is conducive for the student's learning. As such I strive to create a teaching environment that is both welcoming, yet challenging. Lastly, when it comes to learning and teaching, I believe in perseverance. Not every student has the ability to comprehend and retain everything all at once. Therefore as a tutor I would strive to instill this quality in my students.
