I studied Mandarin Chinese beginning in high school, going on through college, and most recently attended the Defense Language Institute where I maintained a 4.0 GPA in their intensive Mandarin course. Throughout all my years learning Chinese I was also a tutor to fellow students and students in the lower level courses. Chinese is my passion and I absolutely love learning and teaching it! I have been an educator for the past 8 years, serving as an elementary teacher, middle and high school teacher, and ESL teacher. I have also taught online and in a tutoring company. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with children in the public school system for thirty-four years as a classroom teacher, Title I augmented reading teacher and as a media specialist. Largely due to my years experience as a reading teacher my class of inner city children scored in the top one percentile on the Georgia Criterion Reference Test(GA CRCT) in Reading.
