I am a college student. I am a substitute teacher for Henrico County with my Bachelors in Health Science. I love teaching and have been tutoring for about 8 years since high school. I am very dedicated and focused. I am currently gearing up to go to graduate school for Speech-pathology with a minor in psychology or childhood education.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate of Liberty University and graduated a member of two honor societies including Aplha Lambda Delta and Psi Chi, the National Honor Society of Psychology. I earned a BS in Psychology with a focus in Human Services and Counseling, and a minor in Biblical Studies. My experience has given me a knowledge of psychology, basic math skills including statistics,biblical studies, english, history, and experience writing papers in MLA, APA, and Turabian.

I have a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary and will be returning to finish my Masters Degree at Georgetown University in January of 2011. I graduated with a 3.2 GPA from William and Mary and currently have a 3.7 GPA at Georgetown. During my time at William and Mary I worked as a tutor for Calculus, Biology and Chemistry. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with college students in the past, working with comprehensive learning and mathematics. I learned that each student understands in their own personal way; some learn by seeing something concrete and for others it is working through the steps in the problem that helps them understand. I have also had the experience of teaching a freshman seminar class where the focus was finding the students strong point or drive and having them research their major or likes to find what job fields might fit them well.
I love teaching all ages, but have experience working with college freshman.
