I graduated from high school with Honors in May of 2014. I am now a Freshman at Northern Arizona University, pursuing a double major in Spanish Secondary Education and Theatre Studies. I took two years of Spanish in high school; I started with Spanish 1 my Junior year and was so proficient that I skipped to Spanish 3 my Senior year and earned my First Year Spanish college credits. Now, at NAU, I am completing my Second Year Spanish credits. I have no formal Spanish tutoring experience, but I have experience with helping friends and peers with beginning-level Spanish. In high school I was able to tutor students in all subjects ranging from English to Math to Musical Studies. Furthering my education at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX really opened my eyes and mind to wider ranges of educational foundations. As a double major in Communication and Classical Studies, I was able to get a well rounded education in all subjects. I feel that I am also skilled in math and got a minor in Art History. Also had the opportunity of being teacher assistant for geometry during my Junior year while taking my bachelor degree. Currently I manage a retail store for a Fortune 100 company and I just finished a concentration on Finances to add to my MBA degree.

A Little Bit About Me...

Although I have taught in a regular classroom setting, I have found that I am most successful working one-on-one with students. Upon my graduation from high school, my calculus teacher, who had noticed my natural aptitude for mathematics and my ability to help other students to understand it, referred some younger students who had been struggling to me for tutoring. Due to my success with this first student, or rather, the student’s new found success in his math courses, my former teacher referred another student to me the following summer.
