I believe that I am a very patient person, as well as someone who is easy to get along with. I would describe my teaching style as calm and focused on fundamentals. One of the most interesting aspects of teaching is how different people process information. Oft times it is difficult to find a teaching style or method that can be equally useful to people of different learning types. I have found that teaching methods common to experiential educators, common practice in such disciplines as SCUBA diving, First Aid/CPR, Martial Arts, Art, etc., can be successfully applied to virtually any academic discipline.
