She left her homeland in 2007 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree at Furman University, Greenville, South Carolina, where she double majored in Music and French. It is at Furman University that she had her first taste of teaching: she was Teaching Assistant for one semester and she tutored French in her spare time. I started tutoring in different after-school programs in New York City while in high school. I enjoyed it so much that even while in college, I continued tutoring and being a group counselor. I even had the opportunity to work with a one-on-one tutoring agency in which I traveled to students homes to help them privately.
