I find I learn the most when I can relate a subject or theme to something current or more familiar to me. Finding something a student is interested in and trying to break down a complicated matter into simple, easy to remember parts when possible that they can relate to in an easy manner. I find this very effective with students who may have ADHD or just some trouble focusing on occasion. I have seven years of upper level education experience with a wide variety of subjects. Each time I took the profile, the results stated that I was best suited to be a Teacher. The secondary career choice was business.
