A Little Bit About Me...

I really like to have the student interact and do problems with me. I like to watch how their mind works on the problems. I also like to get a feel for how the student learns and try to shape my lessons around that.
I have tutored Math and Chemistry in both a high school and university level. In high school, I tutored Algebra I and II, trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics. At the university level I have tutored Calculus I, II, and III. I have a great mathematical background and my major in college is Mathematics with a teaching concentration. I enjoy tutoring. I obtain gratification through helping students to grasp concepts that seem vague or out of reach. I always keep a professional relationship with people. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a United States Air Force veteran and I was responsible for training new airmen on the proper operation and maintenance of survey equipment. I assisted many of my co-workers with math modelling and geometry while they were pursuing their civil engineering degrees. I have 2 Bachelor degrees, BS in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech (GPA 3.29) and BS in Science from Georgia College and State University(GPA 3.72). I am very passionate about math and I believe that if you excel at math you will excel in all areas of study since math teaches the student to read and comprehend as well as apply problem solving skills.
