This past year, I spent time as an SES Lead Tutor after school and in-home and tutored (Reading - phonics based - and Math) many children in grades K through 7th that held IEPs. I believe that each child learns at their own Pace and if they are tested, the gaps in their education will appear. Once these gaps are addressed, they can move forward with their peers. As an Industrial Engineering graduate of NC A&T State University, I have gained the a great appreciation of mathematical concepts and how they are applied in every industry and everyday life. When I know a subject, I can teach it. I am currently a Graduate student at Stratford University where I am seeking a Masters in Software Engineering. My professional experience have consisted of volunteer tutoring at the YMCA in Greensboro,NC where I assisted elementary and middle school students in various studies.
