I have longed to be the best teacher in the world. I wanted to produce as many educated citizens as possible. I have received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education and Computer Literacy because I had the desire to help shape the best leaders and business owners in Northwest Louisiana. I pursued and earned my certification in Mild Moderate Soecial Educatiion because I believe ALL students can learn. Because of my degree in speech-language pathology, I realize that difficulties in learning often have to do with poor language development. A Little Bit About Me...

The major benefit of a one-on-one tutoring environment is that a student can be taught in the manner which best suits their personal learning style. I believe it is imperative to identify a student's preferred learning style and to adapt my teaching accordingly. When working with a student, I prefer to allow the student to work through a problem and discover the answers themselves, while I guide and instruct them, instead of merely showing them. While grades and test scores are obviously important, it is my main goal to increase a student's confidence in a subject.
