I taught high school English, journalism and speech for more than 30 years before retiring in 2013. I also taught a year in middle school, a year in community college and worked in administrative positions at the elementary, middle school and high school levels. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated with my master's three years ago, so I haven't had any actual teaching, but I have tutored for the community college where I live. I tutored essay writing and some math. I was also certified as a tutor through our community college. In college I taught certain subjects, but just for part of certain classes. I am presently tutoring on line also.
As an older student I was very driven to achieve a high level of excellence in my education, hardly ever missing a class. I earned my bachelor's degree from Oregon State University, taking mainly writing and literature. A Little Bit About Me...

I have an MS in physics and a BS in mathematics. I have twenty years tutoring students in math and physics, starting while working on my BS. I taught trigonometry as a teaching assistant at portland State University while a graduate student. I also taught at Chemeketa Community College as a supplemental instructor, holding group tutoring sessions for basic algebra, trigonometry, and geometry, for classes that used these subjects as part of the course.
