K-12 and College Tutor

I have tutored K-12 students, as well as college students. I tutor math for K-12 students and business courses and math for college students. I have a 100% success rate for the students I have tutored in my eight years of tutoring since 2004. I am a caring individual and I do what ever it takes to make sure that my students get the concept they are learning, I will not move forward till they do.
I have the take a learning styles test in our very first meeting to see what style of learner the are. I then concentrate on teaching them by what learning style they are.

A Little Bit About Me...

I hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting. I am currently holding a Master's degree in Vocational Education. I have been teaching for 20 years. I have taught for 16 years middle/junior high school and for 4 years high school. I teach accounting and electronic accounting concepts. I am the coordinator at my school who is responsible to helping my high school students get accounting and office related jobs as interns.I am a National Board Certified Teacher and is an assistant to the Business's Department chairperson at my school.

I very much enjoy teaching in a setting where the students feel comfortable enough to both learn and express themselves. I always find a higher success rate in the understanding and comprehension of the subject at hand under these circumstances. This applies to both my student teaching, tutoring as well as an instructor in the military.
