I have a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, three years of graduate work in chemistry from the University of Georgia, a Master's degree in Teaching chemistry, and eight years experience teaching chemistry in public and private Christian schools. In addition to teaching, I have also tutored high school and college level chemistry for over ten years. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked at Pulaski Technical College for 3 years tutoring several math and Science Courses. I love tutoring and enjoy assisting others in the pursuit of knowledge. I worked as a teachers assistant at Pulaski technical college for the head of the Biology department. I held a class that was not required but encouraged by the school to help the students in the biology course prepare for test and answer questions regarding labs. This class took place after the regular scheduled class and lab each week. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA at Pulaski Technical College and will graduate from University of Arkansas at Little Rock in December of 2014.
I use a variety of teaching styles, until I find out a style that appeals to the student I am working with. Some students are visual, while others are kinesthetic like myself.

Math and Science Tutor

I'm currently finishing my junior year as a chemistry major at The University of Arkansas at Little Rock. My minor is biology. Chemistry is a demanding field that requires knowledge in science as well as mathematics. My degree requires several math classes along witn chemistry classes. Before I became a chemistry major I was a biology major. I've had courses in microbiology, zoology, and anatomy & physiology. I've worked as a teachers aide at my college and I've also tutored at my college. I've obtained a 3.7/4.0 GPA in my studies. Tutoring comes easy to me because I'm such a people's person. I have extensive experience in post secondary chemical education. During my graduate work, I both served as a tutor and a lecturer for general chemistry. After graduation, I became a college chemistry professor teaching general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. After six years in academia, I became an industrial chemist and am currently employed by a company in Little Rock.
