A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is very energetic and I love participation by the students. I think students can learn better through experiencing the information rather than just hearing it.
I recently graduated from the University of Texas double majoring in History and Biology. I have worked as a biology teacher for a freshman year biology course. My specialty was marine biology, and I have lots of experience in field and laboratory research, which has influenced my love for science. History started as a hobby and turned into a passion of mine.

They ended up doing very well on the exams, allowing them to secure a 3.0 or higher in the course. I also had to regular help my classmates out with more complex problems in Physics. I was not so much tutoring as working together with them on the homework, but still, it involved clear explanation and a thorough knowledge of the subject matter.
I always liked playing up my quirky personality. My favorite teachers and professors were the goofy ones, the ones who can relate to the students' fun side. These teachers also challenged me the ... read more
