My comments on tutoring Algebra II : I am taking technical math in college. Algebra knowledge is required for technical math.

I prefer teaching my students to speak first. Once the student is fluent in Spanish, reading, and writing is taught. I emphasize conversational speaking a lot. That is what will get the student to lose the fear, and become fluent. Speaking a language is all about confidence. I consider myself a good leader. I was class president for three years in high school. I was the captain of the football team, and I have always taught by example. Example is the best teacher and the best motivator. Very much based on working with what the student knows. I tend to start by having them explain to me what they are doing and what they think. I then provide some guidance and walk through a sample problem with them. I ask that they try another problem like it on their own and ask questions to prompt them as they work.
I started tutoring in high school for extra credit. I have primarily tutored in mathematics and general chemistry! Math and Science Tutoring

In terms of online tutoring. I make use of a headset microphone and a touch tablet. As well as many free online applications, such as a whiteboard, Skype, and educational resources. My teaching style revolves around how the child learns. I adapt my lesson's around how the child will be able to best learn the material. I want to see them grow and develop as much as they can.
I am now a teacher at a private school in Monona. I help aid a Preschool classroom and have my own classroom in the afternoon for students age four. I also run an after school program once the school day is done with and that incorporates 4 year-olds to seventh graders. I help students out with homework during that time. Before I started my teaching job, I was substituting in Madison and Verona Area School Districts.
