A Little Bit About Me...

I like to teach any level of students, I had in my studio, helped kid's with their school repertoire requirements, as well with their personal school musical projects. As well I had the opportunity to attend many of my students school's, and help with their orchestras, meet their teachers, and create amazing musical experiences. I try to make my lesson's, fun and exiting, as well to develop the artistic creativity of every student.
I graduated from syracuse university in violin performance. I been playing with symphony orchestras in the upstate area, such as Syracuse Symphony, Binghamton Philharmonic, Utica Symphony, Tri-cities Opera. As well I been performing in NY city ,with musicians from many nationalities, that is giving me the opportunity to practice my language skill's in spanish, english and french. My greatest strength as an educator has been an ability to build rapport with students and increase their desire to learn and appreciate math. I have worked with all levels and abilities of students and have shown success with all of them.
I have over 30 years experience as an educator. I have 18 years full time Math Teaching experience at the high school and middle school levels. I have taught or tutored Algebra, Algebra 2, Pre- Algebra,Geometry and a host of other high school level math courses. The rest of my experience includes 2 years as an administrator and several years as a math substitute and tutor.
