Whenever I can, I like to be very hands-on in my teaching my students. For example, once I was teaching my class about trees. I had them go outside and collect samples of bark which had fallen on the ground. Then we created a gigantic mural in my classroom and glued the pieces of bark to a tree we had drawn.

My comments on tutoring Composition : I have extensive experience in writing many types of documents, ranging from business letters to scientific laboratory reports. I am skilled in the mechanics of proper sentence structure, and can provide assistance toward improvements in grammar and spelling. I scored a 5.0/6.0 on the GRE analytical writing exam (93rd percentile).

I was recently accepted to the University of Florida College of Medicine, and will be completing a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology starting this fall. I am currently a post-baccalaureate student at the University of North Florida, taking Organic Chemistry and Genetics.
