My comments on tutoring Algebra I : I have tutored students, even while I was in high school, in Algebra 1.

I have been working as a teacher for three years now. I enjoy working in a private school setting (two years experience) because I can devote more time to lesson planning, after school, and creating individualized/small group curriculum as there are less students in the private school I teach at. My comments on tutoring Algebra I : I have passed mathematics courses with a B or better through Calculus I. I have taken algebra-based physics I and II at the college level, plus calculus I at the college level. I scored a 155/170 on the GRE quantitative exam, which contains many problems specific to algebra skills.

I am a great motivator and I am great at preparing for exams. I have certifications in group fitness and personal training, and I have completed two marathons and a triathlon. My style is to never give up, and to always see the finish line.
I was recently accepted to the University of Florida College of Medicine, and will be completing a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology starting this fall.
