I prefer to get to know students and cater my style of teaching to what works best for each student. For some students at some points, a direct teaching approach works. For others a discovery method works well. I employ a whole child approach to whatever teaching methods I use.

I taught Kindergarten in Gainesville in 2008 and am teaching Kindergarten in Jacksonville at St. Pius elementary school. I have been babysitting, tutoring, and working with children for ten years. I spent the summer in Italy as an English tutor.
I am passionate about working with all children and making a difference. I know that all children can learn but that they learn differently and will need various teaching styles. I like to use a lot of manipulatives when teaching math and reading, to use songs, and to find things you child enjoys to teach them important educational necessities.
