A Little Bit About Me...

In addition to psychology, I have a general interest in education and helping others. I am a patient person and a good listener and I think these qualities are important in developing a connection with students wherein they feel heard, safe and free to ask any question that comes to mind. I think learning should be engaging and I believe experiential teaching strategies are often helpful in order to stimulate motivation.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have just recently finished a Masters program in music education at Central Michigan University. I have been teaching, tutoring, and mentoring students for 5 years. My experience ranges from after school tutoring to long term substitute positions. My specialty areas are lower brass pedagogy, Composition/arranging, and jazz. I have work as a trombone and brass instructor for two Marching band programs.
