I was inspired to pursue mathematics-related work by my eighth grade algebra teacher. An honors math student in high school and college, I decided to pursue a career where I could utilize my analytical and quantitative skills: finance. I have taught finance and math and the middle school and college levels. I have also taught music (piano and singing) to people of all ages.

I feel that children learn best through rich experiences with a variety of materials. Children learn better when instruction is "hands-on" rather than listening to a teacher lecture. The most learning possible can be achieved if variety of senses and "multiple intelligences" are stimulated.
