I am graduating from Rice University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and a B.A. in Asian Studies this year. I have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.67 while attaining leadership positions in three separate school organizations. One of the biggest achievements during my college career was planning a six week-long medical mission to Kenya where I taught HIV/AIDS education to rural communities and set up mobile clinics in remote locations. I have gained extensive experience as a tutor for elementary, middle, and high school children in math and science, among other subjects.
