CAD is one of my top subjects! I have been using CAD for about 15 years and have taken a variety of courses along the way as well as worked in the field for 6 years using cad.

My teaching style is very user based. I show a few times then expect the student to do the task. I will help when needed but like for the student to work through their problems.
I have been in the CAD industry for 10 years now. I studied CAD in a range of different places in high school and college. I started as a Drafter in high school and just kept pursuing it until my senior year when I went to a vocational scholarship to enhance my trade. Once in trade school I excelled and was invited to the Georgia VICA Skills competetion. I also was a teaching aide here as I helped grade papers and set course outlines. Fronm there I attended Auburn University in which I only spent two years before realizing my passion was CAD. I love working with and teaching children of all ages. I am able to adapt to any child's personality and attention span. I try to show students the importance of math and make it fun and enjoyable to learn. I am a very visual learner, so when possible I try and teach my students using visual props. I believe that all students are capable of fully understanding mathematics it just takes a lot of practice.
I am a recent Mechanical Engineering major, Mathematics minor, graduate of Baylor University. My passion for Mathematics is what led me to become a Mechanical Engineer. A Little Bit About Me...

I earned a BS in Computer Science from Berry College with a minor in Animal Science and one class short of a second minor in English. During my senior year I worked as a teaching assistant, helping the freshman programming class complete their assignments as well as grading their work and running study sessions. I just finished a master's in computer science at Rice University (degree to be awarded December 2010) and during my time at Rice I was a TA both for their freshman class as well as for the advanced Operating Systems class. Before I graduated I spent summers teaching horseback riding to children. Currently, I am independently tutoring a sixth grader in math twice a week.
