I have been in many tutoring sessions myself helping wise and observation wise, because I've been wanting to tutor for a while now. I have been on high and regular honor role many times. All through 7th and 6th grade, and now 8th. I get amazing grades and believe in hard work is the key to success and that asking for help in the long run is not wrong at all,no ones perfect. Not even me. I want to be able to help kids as much as to my ability, to help lead then to success and making sure they know it's never wrong to ask for a little help if needed. I have been working with kids of various age groups for about a year now. As of now, I am involved with Breakthrough Sacramento, which is non- profit organization that help underachieved Middle school kids to advance into great High schools in Sacramento region. I can work with groups as well as individuals and I am solid believer that every child is a winner, he/she just have to find his/her potential to be called a winner. My name is Vi Tran and a college graduate. I have always been motivated to help children in their academic studies. I have tutored K-8 children mostly consisted in the After-School programs (ASP) in Stockton since High School and throughout my years at the University of the Pacific (UOP). During the last three years, I have mentored students in English, Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, Arts & Crafts, and Conflict Management.
