Teaching and School Counseling Services In One Place!

My style of education is to teach by modeling. Students need to see things in a step-by-step format with instructions, followed by an immediate example. I also provide sample argumentative essays for students who learn by seeing a complete model. My counseling style is to work with students, first by building a rapport and then using that as the foundation to get a feel for their college/career interests. I then look at their grades to help them build a custom transitional plan into early adulthood.
I have been a teacher for the last fifteen years. I teach social studies, but my specialization is teaching argumentative (college level) writing.I have done plenty of SAT prep and tutoring for students at the high school and college level. Test Preparation is one of my top subjects! If you are studying to take your ASLPI or just a class exam, I am knowledgable about different tests and the way they are presented.

Start with the basics. Assess what level the student is at and then work that into a more challenging structure to pertain to what the student would like to accomplish.
I have been immersed the field of interpreting since 2008. Having graduated out of Bloomsburg University in 2012, over the last two years I have been professionally interpreting in three states and in various fields. ASVAB SPECIALIST. A VETERAN HELPING FUTURE VETERANS.

I started tutoring the ASVAB in 1996. I had just been honorably discharged. A young friend of mine was having Difficulty with the exam but was motivated towards joining. She had tried a tutor that was attending college but It was not working. In less than eight hours contact time, l was able to get her scores high enough to work as a Operation Specialist for the Navy. I have sinced successfully helped recruits raise test scores starting as low as 14 (AFQT). Some of my students have earned scores high enough to be considered for officer programs.
My teaching style tends to be adaptive to the student 's needs. I understand that no two students learn the same. It is all about the the student doing well.
