I continued to pursue my interests in biology and ecology during my Master’s degree work in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. Additionally, I have enhanced my communication and writing skills by writing scientific papers, research grants and by presenting my scientific research at various professional conferences. I have had practical experience working as a microbiology level I technician for a major pharmaceutical company. My primary duties included many of the bench chemistry and laboratory biology techniques from college. I have completed one year of post bachelor's education at Illinois State University and am currently one semester shy of obtaining my type 09 high school teaching certification. While at ISU, I was a graduate level teaching assistant and was responsible for teaching several lab sections of Biology 101.
