After college graduation, I taught Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Earth Science, Biology and Chemistry for one year at a private school in Fresno, CA. I then moved to San Jose, CA and taught at Valley Christian High School. I taught Algebra and Algebra II for one year and then taught Biology and Honors Biology for two years. A Little Bit About Me...

As a parent of two adult sons, I have had the opportunity to work with youngsters at all stages of their development. In addition, I have always been involved in various young activities including Little League baseball, cub scounts, youth soccer etc. I believe that setting a good example of appropriate behavior helps children to learn positive ways of accomplishing goals. As a substitute teacher, I must go into classrooms and establish a positive relationship with the class, interact with a number of different and unique personailities and engage them in such a way that learning can take place.
