Certified to teach in elementary ed. and middle school all subjects I have taught kindergarten and elementary ed. also certified in middle school, and english and math,and science in highschool I really enjoyed my teaching in Tupelo, Ms. I needed to stop for awhile while raising and teaching my daughter until she starts school next year. I own the Queens'Quarters in Baldwyn, Ms. I am a member of the chamber for our city.My mother taught for 25 years before she retired and I learned many of my skills from her besides earning a Masters degree from University of Mississippi, {Ole Miss}. I am preparing to graduate in the spring of 2011 from Mississippi State University with a special education degree. I have studies pedagody and methods for two years with a range of experiences in all types of classrooms. I will be a highly qualified teacher in the spring. I have been in a classroom since I was conceived. My parents are high school science teachers. I have studied a variety of subjects, and I have a deep content understanding of math and science. I have tutored college students in anatomy and physiology and college algebra.

I first and foremost believe that every child can learn, and I refuse to entertain any idea that says otherwise. I have found that a constructivist approach works best for most children, and I will always try this approach first. I try to make learning as hands on and relevant to the real world as possible.
I graduated from one of the top teaching schools in the nation (according to NCATE), and have a degree in elementary and special education. I specialized in math education, but am also qualified to teach English, science, and social studies. I have worked with children as young as 2 years old and as old as 15 in a formal setting. I have approximately ten years of teaching experience including employment as an adjunct instructor in a college-level Intensive English Program, a business education teacher in a large public high school and a junior-high English teacher at a small Christian school.
